1. The melting point of the evaporation source material is higher than the evaporation temperature of the coating material (the evaporation temperature of the material refers to the temperature when the equilibrium vapor pressure of the material reaches 1.3Pa).
2. In order to prevent the evaporation source material from evaporating at the same time when the coating material is evaporated, which affects the purity of the film, generally, when the temperature of the coating material reaches the evaporation temperature, the material whose vapor pressure of the evaporation source material is lower than 10-6Pa is used as the evaporation source.
3. The evaporation source material should not chemically react or diffuse with the coating material at high temperature to form compounds or alloys.
4. The coating material melted at high temperature has a tendency to expand on the evaporation source material, which is easy to wet, and the evaporation state is stable. The evaporation source can be regarded as a container-shaped evaporation source.
5. Those that condense into a spherical shape are difficult to wet. The difficult-to-wet coating materials often roll in the evaporation source, making the evaporation process very unstable; sometimes they fall off the evaporation source.
