Terbium (Tb) General Information：

Terbium, element symbol Tb, atomic number 65, is located in Group IIIB of the sixth period. The element is a silver-white metal and is a rare earth metal. It is soft and ductile, and is easily corroded by air at high temperatures; it corrodes very slowly at room temperature. Soluble in acid, salts are colorless. The oxide Tb4O7 is brown. Density: 8.27g/cm3 (25℃), elemental melting point: 1356℃. Elemental boiling point: 3230℃. It has high reactivity. Should be stored in a container filled with inert gas or a vacuum container.
