Overview
Physical and chemical properties
Properties: Black or blue-gray crystals. The tetragonal crystal structure is layered crystal. Density 6.29g/cm3. Melting point 696 ℃. Stable in air, insoluble in hydrochloric acid, soluble in nitric acid.
It is volatile when heated in vacuum, and the vapor is stable and does not decompose. It has strong anisotropy and metal conductive properties. It is prepared by direct reaction of indium and tellurium. It transforms into a superconductor at 10K.

Application
It is often used as a raw material for industrial preparation of elemental tellurium. Telluride; fine chemical raw materials.
