Hastelloy
Hastelloy is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy, mainly divided into two categories: nickel-chromium alloy and nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. At present, it is mainly divided into three series: B, C and G. Hastelloy has many different variants, each variant has its own unique characteristics and uses. Hastelloy has good corrosion resistance and thermal stability, and is mostly used in aviation, chemical fields, etc.
Characteristic:
(1) Has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking;
(2) It has good resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion; it has good weldability and can be heat treated after welding to obtain solid solution strengthening effects; it has a small tendency to work hardening; it has small deformation and low cracking sensitivity during heat treatment. Large hardening tendency: wide adaptability to hot and cold processing;
(3) It has good corrosion resistance and high temperature strength in the atmosphere; it has certain resistance to chloride erosion.
