Application

1. Used to prepare scintillators, rare earth crystal laser materials, fluoride glass optical fibers and rare earth infrared glasses required by modern medical image display technology and nuclear science. Used in the manufacture of arc lamp carbon electrodes in lighting sources. Used in chemical analysis to make fluoride ion-selective electrodes. In the metallurgical industry, it is used to manufacture special alloys and electrolytically produce lanthanum metal.
