Overview
Physical and chemical properties
The appearance of high-purity nickel particles is silver-white metal, with a density of 8.902g/cm3, a melting point of 1453ºC and a boiling point of 2732ºC, with magnetic properties and good plasticity. Good corrosion resistance, hard, ductile and ferromagnetic metal element, it is highly polished and resistant to corrosion. After dissolving in nitric acid, it turns green.
