Tantalic oxide,Tantalum pentoxide (Ta2O5) is a white colorless crystalline powder. Molecular weight:441.89;Density:8.2g/cm3;Melting point(℃):1800;Character:White orthorhombic crystal, rhombus columnar body.It is the most common oxide of tantalum and the final product of tantalum burning in air. It is mainly used to pull lithium tantalate single crystal and manufacture high refractive and low dispersion special optical glass. It can be used as a catalyst in chemical industry.

Application:

Raw materials for the production of tantalum metal. Also used in the electronics industry. It is used to pull lithium tantalate single crystals and make special optical glasses with high refraction and low dispersion. It can be used as a catalyst in the chemical industry.
