High-purity boron pellets are black bulk semi-metals produced using ultra-high-purity processes such as crystallization, solid state and sublimation. Melting point 2079℃, boiling point 2550℃, density 2.34 cryst. g/cm3.

Electronegativity: 2.0 Paulings

Heat of fusion: 5.3 Cal/gm mole

Heat of Vaporization: 128 K-Cal/gm atom at 2550 °C

Thermal Conductivity: 0.274 W/cm/K @ 298.2 K

Thermal Expansion: 5–7 µm m-1 K-1 @ 25 °C

Application

Mainly used in alloy smelting addition, boron-containing alloy, super hard alloy, CVD evaporation coating.

High-purity boron pellets, with higher density and average grain size than comparable products on the market, can be used in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes, including thermal evaporation and electron beam evaporation, with low concentrations of boron.
