Overview
Copper is a metal with purple-red luster, density: 8.92g/cm³, melting point: 1083.4±0.2℃, boiling point: 2567℃. Copper is slightly harder, extremely tough, wear-resistant, has good ductility, good thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. Copper and its alloys are stable in dry air, but in humid air a layer of green basic copper carbonate Cu₂(OH)₂CO₃will form on the surface, commonly known as patina.
Properties: Pure copper is a bright reddish-brown metal that develops a green patina when exposed to corrosive environments. This green copper sulfate (or copper carbonate) is produced by a chemical process caused by alkalis, ammonia, sulfate compounds and acidic rainwater. While patina on copper is a sign of corrosion, it protects the metal from further deterioration.
Application: Sputtering targets, high-purity alloys, standard samples, integrated circuit packaging lines, high-quality audio lines and other fields.
